I am a recent engineering graduate who does math and physics tutoring. The subjects I teach most often are calculus and college physics, but I can help with all levels of math, physics, chemistry, and engineering as well. My students have come from UT, A&M, ACC, Blinn, Westlake HS, LASA, and many other schools.
In addition to tutoring independently, my teaching experience includes working at a local tutoring center (700+ hours) and serving as both a teaching assistant and an instructor at UT.
I have a BS in chemical engineering from UT (3.9 GPA) and an MS in Computational Science, Engineering, and Mathematics also from UT. My tests scores include a perfect score on the math section of the GRE and a 98th percentile score on the verbal section.
My main strategy is to start from simple examples and work up to difficult problems, showing where each technique is necessary and that the difficult problems often have the same framework as the simple ones. I have taken all of the courses that I teach, and I am very familiar with the skills and knowledge required to succeed.
Note: During Fall 2015, I will be available most weekday evenings and weekends.

I give Spanish and Portuguese lessons for kids and adults at my home in Avery Ranch in
Northwest Austin near Cedar Park, Round Rock West and Leander.
I can also tutor your kids in Spanish - I can help your kids with their homework and help them
study for their tests.
My rates are $20/Hour for private, one on one lessons and tutoring in my home.
My rates are higher when I go to my student's homes because I have to charge for drive time to
your house and back plus gas.
For kids up to 6 years old, I give 30 minute private lessons for $15 in my home.
I also offer Group Lessons for up to 3 kids in my home. They can be your own kids or a
combination of your kids and your friend's kids. For group lessons, the kids have to be in the
same grade in school or the same Spanish level.
If the group is composed of kids up to 6 years old, my rate is $10/kid for 30 minutes.
If the group is composed of kids 7 and up, my rate is $15/hour per kid.
I teach my students once or twice a week and give homework. I focus on grammar and
conversational Spanish. I'm a tough and demanding teacher.
I taught Spanish at Summit Christian Academy and Grace Harbor for 7 years and I've been giving
private lessons for kids and adults for the last 5 years.
